Final Reflection

This module was about creating community through using tools to make connections.  We were asked to create a table of tools that we might use in an online course to enhance those connections between learners, learners and instructor, and learner and the content.  This module was useful in helping me recognize different ways to create connections.  It also provided a wealth of tools as each classmate posted something new.   I chose to review the Web 2.0 tool, VoiceThread.  It appears to be a powerful platform for social collaboration giving participants multiple ways to communicate online.  Within the table is the connection of the tool and the rationale for using it.  I totally flubbed this assignment by not making the connection to the connection column!  I revised the table to include which connections were created by the using the tool. 

Creating Connections 

During our discussions in Module 4 we chose a Web 2.0 tool that could be used to promote collaboration in online courses that we facilitate.   We were then asked to create a matrix of tools that we would find useful and support our choices.  I've presented the ones that I would implement.
